Are you a passionate individual who cares about library services in your community? Are you:

  • interested in making a positive difference in your community
  • enthusiastic about working with other board members, the library CEO, and library staff
  • able to attend monthly board meetings and committee meetings
  • familiar with or interested in learning about library services
  • imaginative and creative
  • willing to learn

Do you have additional skills in finance or law, or previous board experience?

Library Board members must be:

  • at least 18 years old
  • a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada
  • a resident of the Town of Midland, Beausoleil First Nation, or the Township of Tiny
  • able to provide a clear police check
  • not employed by the Town of Midland or the Midland Public Library Board
