Are you a passionate individual who cares about library services in your community? Are you:
- interested in making a positive difference in your community
- enthusiastic about working with other board members, the library CEO, and library staff
- able to attend monthly board meetings and committee meetings
- familiar with or interested in learning about library services
- imaginative and creative
- willing to learn
Do you have additional skills in finance or law, or previous board experience?
Library Board members must be:
- at least 18 years old
- a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada
- a resident of the Town of Midland, Beausoleil First Nation, or the Township of Tiny
- able to provide a clear police check
- not employed by the Town of Midland or the Midland Public Library Board
