We are delighted that you are investigating Midland Public Library’s MakerPlace. As you already know, a goal of MakerPlace is to have community members learn about new opportunities, and the current programs and services in the space.

Our Sponsorship program is specifically targeting MakerPlace development as opposed to general library improvements. We have two options for those who are interested in assisting:

1)      Providing financial amounts to be used as deemed needed by staff for enhancing MakerPlace programming and equipment. For donations of $1000 or more, your business will be linked on the Midland Public Library website. Sponsors donating $5000 or more will also have their business name added to our Donor Wall, located in the Community Space on the main floor, to the right of the elevator. More detail can be found here.

2)      Providing funds for specific pieces of equipment chosen from this listing, where you’ll also find information on our existing equipment. Donations of $500 and more will have the donor’s business or personal name displayed on the equipment. Donations of $1000 and more have the same advertising advantages as noted in the first point.

We’re happy to have dedicated community supporters, and hope you’ll consider joining them. Please contact the library to be connected with a board member for further discussion.
