Now’s the time to switch to Libby!

OverDrive is winding down support for the OverDrive app, and users are encouraged to make the switch to Libby in order to have the best experience in digital materials.

As of February 23, 2022, the OverDrive app will no longer be available in the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or Microsoft Store. While users currently using the OverDrive app will be able to continue, there will no longer be updates or support. The app will eventually be phased out altogether, so Midland Public Library is encouraging all users to make the change to the Libby app as soon as possible.

How do I make the change?

It’s simple! Just look for the free Libby App in the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or Microsoft Store and download it to your device. Sign in once with your library card and PIN and you’re all set. Anything you currently have borrowed or on hold in OverDrive will automatically be transferred. This user guide can also help you get started.
