We hope you’ll join our Library Card Discount Program, Discover Local. Boost your local visibility, drive foot traffic and increase sales, and show your support for our local community!
Participating businesses offer a small discount or special promotion to customers who present their Midland Public Library card. The type of discount is entirely up to you—a percentage off or gift with purchase, a buy-one-get-one offer, or any other promotion that fits your business.
In return, we’ll promote your business through our website (17,000 clicks annually), social media (4,000 Facebook followers, 2,000 Instagram followers), and in-library materials, connecting you with our engaged community of patrons (8,500 active cardholders from Midland, Barrie, Tiny, Penetanguishene, Oro-Medonte, Orillia, and Tay).
We will also provide a Discover Local-branded Midland Public Library window cling to display at your business, helping highlight to customers that you are part of the program.
