Community Navigator
Midland Public Library has partnered with CFS Counselling and Wellbeing to offer social services in our library spaces. Our Community Navigator Jeremy can be found at the library four days a week, working with individuals experiencing societal issues such as homelessness or precarious housing, food insecurity, poverty, unemployment, mental health crises, and addictions. Navigators can provide information, support, direct referrals, and advocacy to assist anyone in need, either drop-in or by appointment.

There are many social services that provide drop-in services at the Midland Public Library:
Empower Simcoe (Housing): Tuesdays, 10-12:30am
Chigamik Community Health Services: Wednesdays, 1-3pm
Canadian Mental Health Association: Thursdays, 1-4pm
