Need a place to study for exams or work on an end-of-semester project? MPL has converted one of our study rooms into the ultimate study space, equipped with supplies, snacks, and stress busters. Study alone or in a small group using your student card.

Teen Pet Painting
Monday, July 13 OR August 10, 4-5PM
Teens (Ages 12-18)
Make a unique painting of your pet! We’ll paint a black and white line drawing of a photo of your pet directly onto the glass of a picture frame, and then add a fun background. Registration required. Pet photo must be submitted at registration.

Summer Teen Advisory Group
Ages 12-18
Drop-in. No registration necessary.
Earn volunteer hours while helping shape teen services at the library and supporting the community! These fun two-hour sessions include free lunch, creative projects, and opportunities to make a difference.
- Tuesday, July 14, 1-3pm – The Vault Refresh – Help us deep clean and redecorate The Vault teen space!
- Tuesday, August 11, 1-3pm – Drawn to Rescue – Create artwork of adoptable animals to help promote local pet adoption through a community social media campaign.

Nerf Game Night @ MPL
Ages 9-14
Registration & waiver required; space is limited.
Bring your Nerf equipment (no darts, please!) and join us for an action-packed evening featuring a scavenger hunt, a few rounds of capture the flag and freeze tag, and taking over the library after hours. We’ll provide the darts and snacks. Snacks & beverages provided.

Dive into D&D for Teens
Ages 12-18

Dive into an original water-themed adventure campaign! Work together to navigate mysterious tides, uncover hidden secrets, and face challenges lurking beneath the surface in this beginner-friendly tabletop roleplaying experience.

Teen Review Program
Earn volunteer service hours for reviewing recent (last two years) books & movies found in the MPL collections. Two volunteer service hours per approved review.
