Teen Take & Make: Pride String Art

MPL wants to help you celebrate PRIDE with a Take & Make kit to create pride string art! We’ll supply the kit, you supply the creativity! Don’t forget to send us a photo & tag us in your social media posts!

A weekly drop-in for teens (12-18) to be creative, meet new people, engage in a game or two, chat about books, or just hang out!

Show your Pride this June by making a button to celebrate your flag! Come check out the MPL MakerPlace in June and use one of our button makers to create your own Pride flag button. Limit of one free button per patron. Email for details.

Jigsaw Jewelry Take & Make


Kits available May 9

Show off your creativity with handmade puzzle piece earrings!  Each kit contains two wooden puzzle pieces, paints, and earring hooks.  Email to reserve your kit.

Teen-y Tiny Art Show

Kits available May 3

Showcase your creativity in a small way! Collect your art kit from the library, create your masterpiece, and return it to the library by May 13 to include in our art show, which will take place May 16-27.  Email to reserve your kit.

Virtual Teen Advisory Group (TAG)

1st Wednesday of the Month @  5:00 PM

Our Teen Advisory Group is a team leadership group at MPL – programming for teens by teens.

If you know what you want to see in the library, have suggestions for books to order or programming you want to attend – then TAG is for you!
Earn community service hours (required for graduation) for all TAG meetings, plus earn extra for TAG-led activities. Email Jenn, Adult & Teen Services Coordinator at for our virtual meeting link!


Teen Review Program

Teens now have a new way to earn volunteer hours – by becoming a volunteer reviewer! You can review your favorite book, movie or video game.
